Transducers 2025 provides a new way for attendees to engage with the community and share information called Open Posters. These posters are a great additional way to share a wider variety of technical information, ideas, challenges, partnership opportunities, and initiatives with the community. Unlike the 100s of peer-reviewed posters to be presented at our conference that are linked to 4-page papers, Open Posters will not be published in the technical digest. Instead, only the Open Poster title will be listed in the conference program.
Examples
- preliminary research or theoretical studies that will be of interest the participants but are not included in another conference paper;
- research that was previously presented at a conference or journal that is generally not followed by the conference attendees;
- challenges encountered or opportunities observed for which alternative perspectives and potential partners would be valuable;
- educational approaches and best practices that could be adapted by others for use at their institution;
- government-lab capabilities that attendees could use to advance their research and possibly partner with for future collaborative proposals; or
- other topics that would interest researchers from our field and are not already part of a paper at the conference.
Deadline
Although we need all Open Posters to be
submitted and uploaded by June 4th (submission link), presenters may use a revised version of their poster at the conference. The poster dimensions should be no larger than 46" (height) x 45" (width) and we ask that you submit the scaled down version as a PDF document.
Guidance
Please note that since Open Posters are meant to convey technical information to the community, we require that Open Posters exclude corporate infomercials and/or advertising. To address that need we are introducing Commercial Posters for the first time at Transducers.
